Whacha Thinkin’?

thinkerHow much do you really pay attention to your thoughts? And when you do think about what you’re thinking about, do you generally have positive or negative thoughts about yourself and/or others?

Napoleon Hill in his book Think and Grow Rich says thoughts are things. You manifest into your life those things you think about a lot.

Have you ever heard someone, after failing at test, say they knew they we’re going to fail? And someone else with the opposite report knew they couldn’t fail? What things do you suppose each were thinking about prior to the test?

Our thoughts can become a self fulfilling prophecy. If you struggle with self esteem and, for example, repeatedly think no one likes you, you will find that you will behave in ways that will make people not like you, at least for the moment, and this response will perpetuate your thoughts that no one likes you.
