Mental Benefits of Walking
It’s obvious that walking has physical benefits, but there are mental benefits of walking too. For someone who walks regularly, their body is better able to deliver oxygen to all systems, including the brain, because they’ve improved their cardiovascular function. Not surprisingly, regular walkers report better mental clarity and ability to focus.
Creativity is enhanced because walkers have the ability to relax their mind and let it wander around while they’re walking. Outdoor strollers can have the benefit of beautiful scenery as well as just seeing things from a different perspective, which stimulates creative thought and the imagination.
Whether you want to improve your body, your mind or both, the benefits of walking should encourage you to make the time to do it.

Think About It
As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.
Henry David Thoreau
Thoughts Are Things
The world we have created is a product of our thinking; it cannot be changed without changing our thinking.
Albert Einstein
What is an Obstacle
The obstacles you face are… mental barriers which can be broken by adopting a more positive approach.
